Health and Safety Code (HSC) section 115000.1 requires the CDPH to track LLRW that is shipped and stored within the State. LLRW generators must submit specific information to the CDPH for tracking purposes. The purpose of this data collection is to understand the burden of LLRW generated, stored, and transferred by California generators in order to assess the need for alternative disposal options in the future.
